ALMCO offers complete catering solutions. These begin with food supply ordering and logistic, include the erection of Canteen, Kitchen & Store facilities, and culminate in food preparation and service. ALMCO catering facilities are capable of operations, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, no matter how remote or volatile the situation. We are capable of serving from 100 people to 20,000 people at any given point of time.

Our team takes pride in providing a dinning oasis of hot tasty food served with a smile and prepared with love to each guest.

We believe in procuring quality stuff. Our teams of qualified Purchase Officers have in depth market information and are periodically updated on international standards to purchase food and non food items. This in turn helps us to meet our quality objectives.

Menus are prepared by highly qualified and well experienced chefs. These menus are prepared keeping in mind the nationality and ethnic background of the residents. Menus are designed to meet the caloric requirements of our residents. Designing menus for special occasions/functions gives our residence an extra taste and makes the event colorful.

Nutritious food is carefully prepared and served. We ensure that all foods prepared and cooked, are as close as possible, to their natural color, flavor and taste, and are controlled by ensuring that food production personnel are aware of the ethnic tastes and preferences of our customer.

Aroma is an important aspect and can excite and stimulate the flow of gastric juices and hence stimulate appetite. We ensure that food is served at appropriate temperature. The appearance of the complete meal served is imaginative.

At ALMCO we do not believe in purchasing bakery products from the local market. We have well qualified bakers to prepare fresh bread, pastry and desserts in house, so that, we can meet international standards and alter the product according to the taste of our residents.

ALMCO has erected industrial bakeries in many remote locations. The Bakery has been designed and equipped to produce bread and pastry products with the highest western technical and quality standards. It operates in compliance with European and American military veterinary certification standards (VETCOM). The facility produces products that meet customer specific, cultural requirements, including selections of international bread and pastry specialties. Prior to building and operating in-theatre bakeries, ALMCO imported frozen pre-baked bread products from local market which required final baking in remote kitchens.

International master bakery and pastry chefs participated in the bakery project design and development. Once in operation, these experts continue to oversee and manage the baking facilities and their local assistants. Target supply groups for the bakeries are ALMCO catering facilities.



Quality Management System is based on the principle of HACCP Management (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) together with well defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPís). These define the hygiene and food safety standards for the entire ALMCO group, and are the cornerstone of all ALMCO operations. The quality control SOPís are constantly revised and adapted to changing conditions. The Quality Management Department is comprised of Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) members located at all warehouse and catering operations.

ALMCO head office staff ensures that operational activities are in adherence with documented procedures. Due to their professional qualification and vast experience in crisis impacted regions, these employees are able to monitor and manage quality control programs in difficult locations.

All locations that ALMCO operate are linked through the Head Office in order to achieve maximum transparency within the ALMCO. Every store reports to the Quality Control Department which, in turn, reports to the CEO, Mr. Namir El Akabi. This procedure ensures that even seemingly irrelevant in-field quality control related incidents are noted and communicated to highest organizational levels where immediate action can then be taken.

Training is conducted with the aim to further meet and improve on the quality. ALMCO conducts continuous in house Training Programs. These training programs are conducted by certified. They are aimed at offering our clients exceptional service day in and day out. The following are a few areas we cover in our training.
